High street retailer Argos took inspiration from the Christmas poem ‘T’was the Night Before Christmas’ for its annual press event, Christmas in July.
With the help of our bespoke specialists Mask Events, the brand transformed 12 rooms of a traditional Georgian townhouse into a Christmas journey, with guests invited to travel through time as they followed a family’s festive celebrations. The journey began with the family buying gifts; the excitement built as guests travelled through the rooms nearing Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The one day event was attended by a range of press guests, from consumer and business to toys and beauty. Guests also got a glimpse of the toys set to cause a stir this Christmas, with Argos announcing its Top 10 Toys for Christmas 2014.
The individually themed rooms gave press a chance to get to know Argos’s top products for the coming winter season, with intricate theming and wintry details ensuring everyone got into the Christmas spirit - in July!
