July saw Bedford Square Gardens transformed into a whimsical wonderland for PR company Edelman’s annual summer party.
Storytelling and unexpected surprises were the order of the night at this event. Guests had been advised to ‘Expect the Unexpected’, with impressive production provided by event management company Smyle.
A usual hang out for office lunch breakers became unrecognisable. A giant neon hot air balloon floated high in the air as the CC Smugglers entertained revellers with their rag tag alternative country rock.
Guests were welcomed by a living archway, somehow suspended amongst the trees. They were then invited to explore the garden, even if that meant falling through a wardrobe into a secret photo booth!
If they didn’t notice the moustached magician amongst the crowd, they couldn’t miss those luggage labels hanging from swings and suspended upside-down umbrellas. It was all part of the scenery... or was it? The summer weather decided to arrive in London just in time, so Create’s stunning street food menus of rustic pizza, beer can chicken barbecue and mussels were a great hit with guests, accompanied by the Jolly Nice Ice Cream cart.
As the sun set, festoon lighting glittered in the trees, whilst clusters of chandeliers and disco balls lit the sky overhead. And so the stage was set for an evening of drinks, dancing and unforgettable experiences, for one night only at Bedford Square Gardens.
