Summer nights are perfect for exploring new spots in London, so head to one of these great new restaurants in August.

Patty and Bun are continuing in their quest to bring amazing burgers to every part of London with their fifth burger joint, which has just opened on Redchurch Street. Get down early and stay late.

If you’re looking for Thai food in Brixton head to Rosa’s to try the much-loved menu of Founder and Head Chef Saiphin’s authentic Thai food with a contemporary twist. The restaurant brings together punchy Thai flavours and the best of British ingredients.

This new deli is opening on 8th August on Monmouth Street, Covent Garden. The restaurant will specialize in home-smoked pastrami, sandwiches and salads. It’s even named after the process of turning beef brisket into pastrami.

This is a brand new restaurant experience in Nunhead. It’s brought to you from the team behind The Lido Café, offering the highest quality beer and sourdough pizza with artisanal toppings.

Head to Brixton for some Caribbean flavours at the new Rum Kitchen. Much bigger than its Soho counterpart, the new restaurant offers the same great jerk chicken and Carribbean dishes that London has grown to love. Don’t miss the Rattle Skull Punch – it’s our favourite.

Battersea is the place to be if you’re looking for Middle Eastern flavours this summer. Head to the brand new Bababoom for Middle Eastern food made more approachable, with less of the intimidating long menus and traditional design.

Opening in Soho soon, Kiln is inspired by the rural simplicity of the Thai borderlands where dishes combining Burmese and Yunanese spicing and flavours are cooked over open fire. Expect a short grill menu and a daily noodle special.

This new Brick Lane restaurant incorporates Southern French and North African influences with spices from the regions. The décor brings together the Parisian Belle Epoque era and the urban look of East London.
