Create Food & Party Design hosted five weddings in five days at Kew Gardens.
The weddings all took place from 17th to the 21st September in The Orangery. At each wedding Create Food & Party Design managed the full food and drink service, set-up, staffing and event management. Each of the five weddings had guest numbers of between 120 and 170, with some including a wedding ceremony in the Nash and drinks on the lawn, and in the adjacent Princess of Wales Conservatory. Create’s wedding planning experts also gave additional advice on everything from floral arrangements to menu design at several of the last minute celebrations.
Stand-out dishes included a starter of butter-poached crayfish ravioli with crayfish liquor, a pink roasted rump of lamb served with twice-baked artichoke soufflé, braised little gem with peas, broad beans and tarragon, baked courgette topped with english pancetta crumbs and sherry jus and a dessert of candy apple parfait, crusted with tatin crumbs and served with crisp cinnamon glazed puff pastry wafers, apple curd, spiced caramel and freeze-dried blackberries.
The week of weddings was full of entertainment from a trio of best men singing their own song to the happy couple and the addition of two grand Steinway pianos to one of Create’s most unusual wedding guests - a Shetland pony.
