Summer is on its way, so enjoy the warmer weather with a trip to one of London’s best new restaurant openings. Here’s where to head this May.

Giant Robot

New street food market Giant Robot opened its doors mid-April and is now serving up some of London’s finest street food on a Canary Wharf rooftop. The line-up includes famous vendors like Yum Bun, BOB’s Lobster and a new tapas and sherry bar, Little José.

Yolk started as a longing for the perfect Eggs Benedict. Dozens of versions later, Yolk thinks they have it. Now, Yolk bring the same obsessive approach to everything we do, applying culinary science, love for tradition & our own greedy imaginations to create food of which we're truly proud.


This Balham restaurant will only be serving food which is ball shaped. And cocktails.


A new all-day restaurant opposite Lambeth North station, Florentine focuses on a best of British menu.

Claude Bosi at Bibendum

Bibendum is reopening this month, with a more casual downstairs restaurant replacing the existing oyster and seafood bar.

Judge & Jury

This new fine dining restaurant is based in the Courthouse Hotel, Shoreditch. Once used as the Old Magistrate’s Court, the building used to house the Kray Twins. Now it’s a refined restaurant with a British menu.

The Refinery New Street Square

Conveniently located between Fleet Street and Chancery Lane, but nestled away in the peaceful New Street Square, The Refinery offers the perfect escape from the bustling city. With high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, the space is flooded with light and offers a cosy al fresco terrace to boot.
